  • P current set point and cos phi current set point can now be used for transducer output in menus 5690+5710. Values are also available on Modbus.
  • GOV and AVR regulation can now be frozen separately using M-Logic.
  • Added MB and TB open inhibit M-Logic commands.

  • Dynamic synchronisation minimum voltage parameter added (ch. 2024) to ensure a certain level of voltage.
  • EIC DEF Temp added in delta analogue alarms.

Corrections:

  • A mains controller with no TB will no longer trip its MB when powercycled.
  • Relay regulation for AVR and GOV now works again.
  • In an application with multiple mains controllers without tie breakers, entering block mode on one mains could cause another mains breaker to trip shortly. Now corrected.
  • CAN Setup CH: 784x alarm no longer triggers unintentionally when selecting an EIC protocol.
  • Improved handling of config data from USW.

Changes:

  • EIC: Added PGN ETC3 to Caterpillar and Perkins protocols
  • EIC: Added TSC1 Checksum to Iveco protocol
  • EIC: Added CAN stop request to Deutz EMR protocol.

Corrections:

  • M-Logic version of "mains okay" command now works in the same way as the input "mains okay" command.
  • The input "mains okay" is now logged in both high and low states when it is configured either in M-Logic or through the IO list.
  • Power capacity improved to avoid overloading DGs in a setup with several TBs and a failing DG. Also, M-Logic command "TB power capacity - direct close" will now speed up AMF sequences where Mains fail control is set to "Start engine".
  • Phase sequence error status texts could appear even if they should be inhibited. GB would not close because of phase sequence error even if it was inhibited.
  • Corrected: Beckhoff digital outputs could flicker.
  • Battery test with start sequence working correctly in AUTO.
  • CIO not working together with MDEC 302/303 and ADEC 501 protocols when present on the same CAN line.
  • Restart of the controller could very rarely affect parameter settings.

  • EIC: PSI (Power Solutions International) J1939 protocol added.
  • EIC: PGN64913 added to PSI protocol. This PGN transmits the status of the breaker feedbacks - both GB and MB.
  • EIC: Engine derate request added on all J1939 protocols.
  • Alarm 8291 "BB meas failure" has been introduced for DG units. This alarm checks if the DG controller can measure the busbar voltage. If not, it will check if the other DGs in the PMS system can. If they can, the DG will issue an alarm.
  • Virtual AOP buttons and LED status available on Modbus.

Changes:

  • EIC: Added ambient temperature measurements to MTU ADEC protocol.
  • EIC: Volvo Penta EMS 2 support for DEF level to be read on different source addresses added.
  • In parameter #7806, the selection +-10  V has been removed. The new default selection is 0-10V.
  • Parameter #7802 is no longer available.
  • Inhibit on Ext engine stop alarm available.

Corrections:

  • When a mains is instructed to switch to a DG supply, it first checks if there is an available DG supply before opening the MB.
  • Improved update of TCP/IP Modbus data.
  • Improvements for breaker open point during power derate active.
  • Parameters 7741 and 7743 are now scaled properly in the USW according to parameter 9030. Furthermore, the minimum and maximum ranges for 7741 to 7744 have been changed.
  • Translations made in the AGC-4 does not tranfer to logs in USW or exported logs.
  • Relay error occurs when setting alarm output to limit while using Beckhoff.

  • Option H7: Engine values were not updated correctly, if "Internal Comm" alarms are present.
  • Phase sequence errors are no longer detected when the voltage or frequency is outside "Volt/frequency ok" values.

  • Auto start/stop OFF was not logged when using M-Logic.
  • BLOCK mode introduced in 4.59.0 in MAINS backward compatibility improved.
  • MB no longer opens unwanted, when AUS mode is active and a mains failure occurs with mode shift on.

  • GB(s) could trip unexpectedly in applications with mains without TB. Phenomenon could occur in case MB was performing back synchronisation and experienced an MB close failure. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • Part of positive sequence alarm did always look at BB voltages though the device type demanded it to act on gen. voltages.
  • If doing LTO without sync. to mains or AMF with "Start engine", MB would trip when DG volt./freq. okay, although the DG was performing initial idle sequence. Now MB waits until DG is ready.

from unit placed at higher level in the system. If for instance DG(s) are to take in reference
from a Mains unit, “Superior” must be selected in the DG(s).
If DG(s) are to use their local reference the setting must be set to “Off”.
In case “Fixed for imp/exp” is selected in a Mains unit it will seek to compensate for any DG(s)
not being in “Superior” to maintain the requested cosphi across its MB. DG(s) with older PM
compatibility version will behave as if “Superior” was selected and will therefore only use
local reference in case no reference is received from the mains unit.

  • Load profiled running hour counter added. This counter is weighted with the percentage load of the DG.  This counter is selectable as type of running hour on which to base DG priority in menu8113:  a. Total. b. Trip. c. Load profiled. Load profiled selection will not be compatible with units having older PM compatibility versions.
  • Priority handling updated. Now it is possible to make manually update of priorities in Menu8086 depending on either user defined priority order or according to running hours. a. Off. b. Manually update. c. Running hour update. This is independent on priority routine selected of the type selected in menu8113. No PM Backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • Possibility of subtracting DG(s) from Power Management system added. It is now possible to select a Gen-set mode in menu6071 other than “Power management”  when being part of a Power Management application. When doing so normal operation of a SingleDG will be obtained.  The DG(s) will no longer be available to the Power Management system.  The Power Management communication itself will remain intact and no alarms will be introduced in the system.  No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
