All of DEIF’s worldwide subsidiaries offer training on our product lines in state-of the-art facilities. Regardless of where your application is located, your staff and customers can be educated using the local language and culture.

DEIF Inc.’s industry leading emulation systems, plus full scale simulators provide customers the opportunity to learn the theory of DEIF equipment operation and gain real-time, hands on experience to apply, troubleshoot and operate DEIF products. Customers who have completed training have reduced their project engineering and commissioning times. The emulation and simulator training tools are composed of AGC 100, GPC-3, AGC 200, AGC-4, PPU-3, and PPM-3  systems whose software can be programmed to match actual site applications.

The training tools which integrate the AGC product line is built for synchronizing generator(s) to the utility (MAINS), conducting Automatic MAINS Failure (AMF) with optional back synchronization, communication via the common standard protocols plus performing land based Power Management features such as load sharing and management, system optimization, dead bus/black start operation and close before excitation (CBE).

Our training facility is not only designed for land applications we can simulate marine power generation as well. The PPU tools teach you to configure a system that will be controlled and managed by a PLC/SCADA system from the vessel’s bridge. Our PPM-3 emulation system is used to instruct trainees how to configure marine power management for load sharing, smooth load transfers between gensets and from gensets to shore power, split bus operation and heavy consumer demand support.

Training gives customers an opportunity explore all of DEIF’s switchgear, metering, and operator interface products as well as experience firsthand DEIF’s industry leading Service and Support.
