The GPM5∙1 module is a class 0.5 grid measurements and protection module, fully configurable from the main application. The module has an onboard processor for sampling of grid measurements such as three-phase voltages, currents, phase angles and power vector measurements. The availability of these measurements/calculations as variables takes load from the application, thus making it faster. The GPM5∙1 module enables the application to read the following values directly from the process image, thus reducing the processing time of the application.

A special feature of the GPM5∙1 card is that it has a true class 0.5 calculation, also on power measurements. The module features class 0.5 measurements of voltage, frequency, current, power, reactive power and phase angle
