Hands-on training to release full potential of your AGC-4 controller
With the rapid advances in generator control and the increasingly sophisticated communication between engines themselves, it has become more necessary than ever for both service personnel and designers to receive hands-on training. Without the correct training, you run the risk of not fully utilising the features offered in your generator controllers.
So why not join everyone else and learn how to release the untapped potential of your AGC-4 controller from DEIF?
Date and venue: 20-21 March 2018 (service technicians) and 22-23 March 2018 (designers) in Skive, Denmark
Service technician level
The service technician level is primarily focused on enabling you to commission and troubleshoot genset operations. This includes learning how to use the different configuration inputs, modes of operation and how to change protection settings. In addition, you will learn how to use the controller and obtain in-depth knowledge of the functionalities it offers, including utility software connectivity troubleshooting capability, parameter settings and tuning of PIDs, synchronisation and much, much more. Hands-on tasks included during the day.
The designer level is for designers who require detailed knowledge of the AGC-4 capabilities in order to make the right offer to meet application requirements. Designers will learn how to specify a genset controller with regards to option selection, how to design an application for DEIF controllers and how to setup advanced power management applications. Practical exercises include setting up advanced power management applications using DEIF Utility Software, learning how to use the different modes of operation in power management applications and how to emulate entire applications prior to real installation.
