DEIF Plant Management Shortlisted for Middle East Electricity Award

DEIF’s Plant Management solution for IPP projects has been shortlisted as one of three candidates for the 2014 Middle East Electricity Award in the Best Innovation or Technology of the Year category.

Developed to secure stable and automatic plant management, control and protection of mega IPP projects of up to 256 gensets, the comprehensive solution has revolutionised power management of large temporary power plants, replacing traditional manpower-heavy operation with comprehensive automatic control.

Lifting genset control from manual operation of single units to automated operation at plant level, DEIF Plant Management incorporates plant power and power factor control at connection points, load profile priorities routines and other parameters to enable control and protection from a central point of intelligence.
