On 16 January 2026, DEIF China celebrated its 20th anniversary with an evening of gratitude, reflection, and forward-looking optimism - together with colleagues, invited guests, and alumni who have been part of the journey. Anchored in the theme “Two Decades, One Journey,” the celebration highlighted the values that have guided DEIF China across two decades: Respect, Ambition, Perspective.
A night of celebration and connection
The event brought together DEIF’s SVP leadership team, Managing Directors from across the APAC region, and special guests from Practek - including Jean Zhang and colleagues - underscoring the importance of community and shared progress. The evening opened with a 20-year retrospective video, bringing moments from DEIF China’s journey to life - teamwork, dedication, and the relationships that have supported steady growth over time.

As the ceremony unfolded, our leaders took the stage to reflect on DEIF China’s 20‑year journey and to share their aspirations for the future.
Hansen Li, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region, opened with heartfelt gratitude to colleagues, partners, and friends who have supported DEIF China through two decades of growth. He revisited key milestones in the company’s development - from its early founding vision, to overcoming market challenges, to the strong momentum of recent years - highlighting the collective dedication and resilient spirit that have shaped today’s achievements. He emphasized that DEIF China’s success stems from its people: committed teams, supportive partners, and a culture built on trust, collaboration, and “winning together.”
Jean‑Michel, Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, continued by acknowledging the strength of DEIF China’s leadership and the unity of its teams. He spoke about how strong organisations are built over time - through clear direction, shared responsibility, and the steady efforts of many. He expressed appreciation for employees past and present, as well as the long‑term trust of customers and partners. Looking ahead, he reaffirmed confidence in DEIF China and the Asia Pacific region, emphasising continued growth supported by strong leadership and a collaborative mindset.
Finally, Christian, Group CEO, offered warm reflections on his long relationship with China and the many colleagues who have shaped the company’s journey. He shared personal anecdotes that illustrate the close bonds, mutual support, and cultural understanding built over the years. He spoke proudly of the team’s accomplishments and DEIF’s strong market position, attributing this success to hard work, ambition, and a shared commitment to excellence. He expressed deep appreciation for the team’s collective contributions and confidence in the opportunities ahead.
Honouring long-serving colleagues
A central moment of the celebration was recognising colleagues who have contributed to DEIF China over 5, 10, 15, and 20 years. The service awards highlighted the importance of commitment, capability-building, and shared responsibility - reflecting how individual growth and collective strength have advanced the organisation’s journey in China.

The celebration culminated with a cake cutting, a champagne tower, and a collective toast - bringing leaders and colleagues together to mark the anniversary in a memorable way. With the slogan “Winning Together,” the evening closed on a simple message: the journey continues - stronger together, and ready for the next chapter.
For 20 years, DEIF China has upheld one simple promise - deliver great customer experience. During the celebration, a heartfelt employee blessing video showcased the pride and passion behind this promise, reflecting the dedication of the people who make our journey possible. As we look to the future, DEIF China will continue moving forward with the same spirit of unity and excellence, shaping the next decade with confidence and “Winning Together.”
