3/10/2010 PWM output and added flexibility with the new EPQ96-2

The new EPQ96-2 is an electronic user-configurable unit which can replace normal mechanical motor potentiometers for control of electronic speed governors. The unit contains no moving parts and is therefore maintenance-free.

EPQ96-2 converts the relay output from a PI controller to a control voltage/current or PWM signals as input for the electronic speed governor. In case of supply voltage drop-out, the potentiometer will be automatically preset either according to the adjusted preset value or to the value before supply drop-out once the supply voltage has been reconnection.

The EPQ96-2 is equipped with two push-buttons for settings between manual or auto mode.

Features include:
>  Setting of integrating time (such as variable gearboxes)

>  Adjustment of output signal

>  Offset adjustment

>  Manual/auto mode

>  Analogue output

>  Two PWM outputs

>  Converts a J1939 CAN input to analogue or PWM outputs

>  Maintenance-free as it contains no moving parts

The new EPQ96-2 replaces the existing EP-Q96. Compared to the EP-Q96, the EPQ96-2 offers PWM outputs and more flexibility for the user as it does not require factory configuration. The user can do it on his own if so preferred.

More information about the EPQ96-2.
