At DEIF UK, you wear many different hats - although not all at once, mind you! Because we’re a small team you have to get involved in all aspects of the business. It’s a flat structure and everyone chips in with technical support, sales, marketing, general office administration and even making the tea! We’ve recently increased our team from four to seven people, and turnover has more than tripled in the past 5-6 years, so it’s an exciting time.
I studied marine electronics, telecoms and radar at a nautical college and later worked for a large American construction equipment company which got me into power generation as a generator specialist. Since joining DEIF 6½ years ago I’ve not looked back as all our focussed hard work has seen the company on a deservedly upward spiral - we’re a great team.
Our main internal points of contact are in Denmark but we’re also aware of DEIF as a global team, where we can call on each other’s experience and knowledge from all around the world to best support our customers. We’ve met many of our colleagues from other countries at DEIF seminars, and we’re on first name terms with many people around the group, which helps bring a personalised touch to the DEIF global support network.
